Rooted in Stillness

Through yoga, breathwork, journaling, and herbal support…my mission is to provide each client with the tools they need to manage stress and anxiety naturally and effectively, on their own.


Yoga and meditation provides the chance to refocus and connect to your higher self. By focusing on breath and conscious movement you will be guided through gentle movements with periods of stillness.

Rooted, grounded, firmly planted in these moments of stillness, you begin to create space, and return to your daily life feeling restored, balanced, with more strength and focus.


Sometimes we get so caught up in rushing from one task to another, one thought/emotion to another without taking the time to process what we’re really thinking, or how we feel. Journaling gives us the opportunity to do just that. We find or reconnect with our inner voice. It helps us to process our thoughts and make decisions rooted in our own inner wisdom.

Along with gentle ambient music, your yoga and journaling sessions will provide various journaling techniques, prompts, combined with gentle yoga and time to reflect. Your journal writes are your own personal thoughts, and are for your eyes only. It is my hope that you develop your own practice at home and rely on it during times when you feel you need clarity.

Herbal Support and Aromatherapy

The Earth provides much of what we need to care for ourselves.

Aromatherapy is the art and science of using essential oils expressed from plants to assist in healing the mind, body, and spirit. You will have the option of incorporating “plant therapy” into your yoga and/or yoga and journaling sessions.

Meet Theresa

Theresa (She/Her) is a certified Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, certified Breathing Coach, and has completed 150 hrs of training in Herbal Medicine.

During her most challenging times in life, the two things that consistently helps to bring back balance, strength, and self-empowerment is Yoga and Journal Writing. It was this realization that called her to become a Yoga Teacher.

She has worked with the following communities:

  • Preschoolers
  • Seniors
  • Adolescents
  • Families working through trauma
  • LGBTQ+
  • Women of Color
  • Children with Special Needs
  • Anyone brand new to yoga and/or Journaling

Recently she has shifted her focus from teaching large group classes to teaching smaller groups and individual private yoga sessions, because of the more individualized and personal attention she could give to students. Theresa hopes to help others connect to their inner voice and find strength in stillness.

In her free time, Theresa enjoys theater, gardening, hiking, laughing, live music, writing, and spending time with her family. She does not enjoy baking.
